KUKA TV - LBR iiwa moves camera + teleprompter in TV studio
The scenario represented here is a TV studio: a newscaster is reading his text from a teleprompter mounted on the camera. The combination of camera and teleprompter is guided by the LBR iiwa. The robot is employed here to ensure clean camera panning during the take. Unlike manual panning, this has the great advantage of a smooth, shake-free camera pan, which is also noiseless in the absence of the disruptive gear and motor noises of conventional industrial robots. The safety functions of the LBR iiwa allow close, hazardfree teamwork between the robot and the studio personnel on the set.
